![]() ![]() To achieve this, I used the Rounded Rectangle Tool to make the “L.” I then used the Ellipse Tool, holding the shift key, to create a perfect circle. I wanted my logo to have a hand-drawn, care-free, abstract look to it. From there, I decided to mainly use rectangles and circles to create the logo. I started off choosing a background color, my color of choice was a light teal. I then moved on to Illustrator, where I spent a couple of hours designing my logo. I knew from the start that I really wanted to create a logo in Illustrator, so I didn’t spend too much time creating the font logo. That is definitely something I plan to try in the near future! This tool can also be used in a more advanced way to create a chromatic effect if you use multiple layers. In Photoshop, after using the “Ladi” font to type my initials, I went into the effects and used the Bevel & Emboss tool to add dimension to the letters. I mainly decided to focus on Adobe Illustrator since I wanted to create a simple, abstract logo from scratch. This week is all about execution!
